Warm and Happy

Updated on January 26, 2012

The Bird

There was a bird that wanted to fly high

to recieve the warmth that was in the sky

to be happier and warmer higher it flew

singing as higher and warmer it grew

Warm and happy was how it felt.

it wasn't afraid that it would not melt

Soon it was colder, because it was getting to high

then it froze and fell to the ground from the sky.

As it lay frozen, all cold and blue

a cow walked over and dropped on it some doo-doo

it was hot and defrosted the bird on the ground

the bird feeling warm, raised his head from the mound

had started to sing, expressing his luck

Soon the bird again was happy and warm in the muck

This stirring and singing was heard far away

by a cat who was passing that very day.

The cat saw the bird and then cleaned him off

then swallowed the bird without even a cough

So in the final end of this ditty

this you will find to be such a pity

The people who drop on you this dirty, Doo..

they aren't always trying to hurt you.

And the people who clean off this dirty, Doo...

Aren't always trying to help you too.

So the next time that you are warm and happy it is best to keep your mouth shut.

lol. wow i heard that story before about the bird and it got pooped on but the cow was only trying to help and the bird freaked out and Idr the rest I guess a cat came and ate him too? but moral of the story is just that, be careful who you trust, those we think may be trying to hurt us are really only trying to help, and those who try to help us may just end up hurting us...

Everyone should believe in themselves, in their own abilities and keep their beliefs and aspirations. A strong mind that is nourished by positive thoughts can only move forward and towards achieving anything that one desires.

      Nice poem, voted up :-)
