This Life is like

A withering Tree

Letting Go | Source

Life is like a withering tree who

once blossomed and had so many

fruits and grace to offer, with its natural

scenic wonders.

Life is like a summer camp you meet

people who you'd spend time with.

Then they all leave you to go to their

destination when the camp is over.

Life is like a vapour before you know it ,

you disappear into the atmosphere.

This life is not forever so someday all we cling

to we'll have to let it go one day or it will let us go.

Life is but a moment here and a moment there

~ Joanna. Chandler aka Ladyfiddler

Letting Go isn't easy but someday we'll have to

It's sad to know that even you who are reading

this will one day no more be. And only memories

and faded pictures can fill that void, that

emptiness that leave us so cold inside.

Life is but good and bad times, a time you'll

wish you had done things better for the people

you love. A time you'll wonder did I do my best?

a time where tears won't be enough to suffice the

griefs and pains inside. You dread that day when God

will call him or her away.

Life is but this present second , its not about the

next minute or day because who are we ? Where

are we going ? Where did we come from and who’s to know

what day we shall depart?

This life is about now, this present second we breathe the breath of air that God has given us. Its not about the next second, minute, hour or day. We do not own it!

~ Joanna. Chandler aka Ladyfiddler

Someday we'll all reach to the end of that road!

1 Corinthians 15:55-56 (KJV)

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

John 5:24 (KJV)

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

There lives that frightening spot in your heart a day

you wish will never come but to death one day we'll

all succumb if God doesn't come quickly..we'll all wither

away & leave someone behind who will wish we had stayed.

Life is but a journey until death! How sad how cruel the

taste of sin have bittered our waters! Oh death why do

you always take things from me, why my heart, why my love

ones, why pinch life away from me?....

And I asked her are you afraid to die?

she replied death have reign over us.

I'll add only in this life....

This was written due to my grandmother's present health, I know someday God will call her away, she's presently eighty-two years old and not doing too well. I pray that when that time reaches God makes the transition smooth and gives us peace, understanding and comfort within....... The Lord giveth and taketh.

Please don't miss the lovely song below :)

The transitioning from this life unto the other is where reality hits those whom you've left behind.

~ Joanna Chandler aka Ladyfiddler

When I die Hallelujah by & by I'll Fly away!

It reminds me of Ecclesiastes: 1:9 -- What has been done will be done again history is a repetitive cycle and nothing is new under the sun. I love that bible verse because it keeps me humble. Even Solomon in his old age realized with all his fortune and wisdom our lives are just a vapor in the midst. We toil and labor under the sun, then one generation dies and another one comes. If we all truly understood that verse we would spend less time hating and more time loving.

Very beautifully written, Jo. Life is fleeting here on this world which is not our true home, but temporal. We know when we belong to Him, we will have eternal life in Heaven with Him. I do love that song so much.

I will pray for your grandmother.

      Up +++

This made me think of life as like trying to hold on to dry sand in your hand, it just slips away no matter how hard you try to hold on to it....very sad but also very true:-))
