2013 New Beginnings

Updated on February 5, 2015

New Beginnings!.. New Beginnings!...

Let Bells ring out for our New beginnings,

Turn a new page,. A blank page to fill,

Let´s fill it up with love and goodwill.

Let no man ever again take a gun,

shooting through schools, see children run,

Let children be loved,. Let´s fill their need,

instead of allowing the power of greed,

to stop us from starting our New beginnings.

New beginnings, for young and for old,

Blankets and shoes for those who are cold,

And food for the bellies of millions around,

Let Governments fall if they fail to resound

with the glorious "YES". It´s time that we helped.

All of our people need New Beginnings.

Dictators should topple, as some have already,

One Human Race joined together´ll be steady.

And all can take part in the New Beginnings.

2013...... Open the door.......Let us begin with our New beginnings.

While the nations of the world operarate flagantly with "power and greed" ruling the land, I simlpy watch and wonder. While nations run with red ink and print trillions, I balance my checkbook and maintain a steady course. Your thoughtful poem is a breath of fresh air that all of us can share. HOPE-- there is always hope.

Your poem exactly reflects how this awful world is today and let's hope things will be done by the powers that be to help resolve some of them! Voted up,
