In my life forever
The Lady In My Life
There is a Lady in my life,
A Lady that will one day be my wife.
When we met we really had no chance,
That we would ever be able to dance.
She had her problems, I had mine,
But I could never give up, she was so fine.
We have made it through a lot of years,
There have been smiles and too many tears.
Someone looking down from the stars above,
Knew our hearts were so in love.
He made sure we stayed together,
Through thick and thin we could weather.
He knew we were to be soul mates,
He checked our signs and matched our dates.
Though we have had our ups and downs,
The happy times have out weighed the frowns.
I will love this Lady 'till the day I die,
Then, even after, in the heavens so high.
