Introduction

There are numerous books that make you cry, but in my opinion these five novels will definitely make you cry and that's not it-you're also in for an interesting story line.

Thousand Splendid Suns by Khalid Hosseini

This book by Khalid Hosseini will blow your mind. It was originally published on 22nd May 2007. It's the type of book that hits you straight in the feels. It's not the lovey dovey type that usually most of the sad novels are. You're in for a good read. The plot sets when a young girl is married to a man older than her without her consent. After her story we are all dropped in the world of another girl who's parents die due to bombing in the war of Afghanistan. You will find yourself weeping at the end of the story.

The Consequences of Love by Sulaiman Addonia

The consequences of Love is a story set in Kingdom of Saudia Arabia where love stories are a crime. This book by Sulaiman Addonia takes you on a journey of thrilling adventure of two lovers that will leave you in tears at the end. It was published in 2008.

Dear John by Nicholas Sparks

The story of Dear John sets when two teenagers fall in love. Soon, they are separated by the military duties of the male abroad. The long distance relationship between them weakens and tragedy strikes. This story is bound to give you goosebumps... oh, and.. tears.

Whenever we talk about sad novels, THIS BOOK IS A MUST. I suppose I mainly have people who read novels here on my article,so yeah i'm sure you all have read this one. To those who haven't ,do give it a go. It will rip your heart out. It was published on 2nd june in 2014.

Kite runner by Khalid Hosseini

Kite-runner is the first novel of the the Afghan-american writer, Khalid Hosseini. This novel will make you wet your pillow with tears. It shows how a single lie can ruin our lives. It is one of the most influential book of all time. It was originally published on 29 May 2009. THIS ONE IS A MUST READ.
