Live Again

Time will not cease at any moment,
It doesn't know and so will move on,
With time flow memories and life,
Dreams will arise, dreams will end.

Open now the diary of life gone by,
Have your eyes relished the sights
And hugged the moments they met ?
Each move of the beloved was bliss.

And each smile a breeze of love,
Did you see lotus darts of stares
And grasp subtle whispers on lids ?
Open your eyes and look again.

The sound pierces into silence
And usurps a niche in the space,
You can't take back once it fled,
Like immortals, it survives ever.

Did you say words with warmth
And grace the lips with serenity ?
Hurled love to hurts and abuses,
Like balm came out your words.

Words make one wane or wax,
Have you felt joy of the speech
And caught the cadence all along ?
Wipe malice off and speak again.

Did you hear beloved 's words
And the moves they made to you ?
Each syllable laced with deep love,
With all passion lifted from heart.

Did you forgive if you heard harsh
And forget the jerks of the tongue ?
If you hear words, hear heart too,
Remember how you longed to hear.

Like ocean, savor the salt in love,
Like cloud, take lightening in arms,
Hear breathing, hear throbbing,
Hear with love and hear again.

Did you see what you wished to see ?
Did you speak what you loved to say ?
Did you hear what you aspired to hear ?
Ascend the peak while you are awake.

Put asunder each veil you encounter,
Like sun, penetrate the darkest doubt,
Die to all prejudices and affectations,
Raise the self, siege the paradise lost.

Love as an emotion is permanent in our psyche, but we forget it's existence sometime. Kevin, if we keep reminding ourselves of this wonderful feeling, we 'll remain happy and contented. Thanks for appreciating this poem and sharing it.

What a wonderful comment, brother manatita ! Getting ahead ..Lol. I'm learning the ropes but the great magician manatita is my Guru and will remain so ever. Yes, font is too small, I will work on it and turn it into readable and bigger. You are such a strong supporter ; your words inspire me and encourage me so much. Thanks a lot for your kind visit and presenting such an elaborate and beautiful commentary on this hub. Wish you and all peace and happiness.

A totally awesome poem!!! I worry, bro, you're either catching me or you've gone ahead .. Hehe :)

Seriously, a totally well-crafted and brilliant poem. Such a shame the writing is so small. Perhaps if you add a capsule half-way then you can make it bigger. You may attract more. We should never be allowed to miss such beauty! Hari Om!

Eric, I'm so enamored of the tale of Adam and Eve and how they were expelled from the paradise. In our own life, we remain so happy and cheerful in the beginning but gradually everything turns into too mundane and juiceless. Around this concept, I weaved this hub. I'm glad you read and appreciated it. Thank you very much for constant support and for presenting such nice comments.
