A Christmas Prayer ~ a Poem
Snowflakes fall from a bright starry sky
Angels smile down as they fly by
Watching little blessings through the snow
That fall upon each and every nose
*****
A child cries in the night
Whom only wise men will find
He's cold and all alone
'cept for his parents and the goats,
****
He lies on the hay
While his mother and father they pray
Filled with awe at the smile on his little bright face
On whom's gaze one could never in sadness stay
****
a little king
waits
for you today
upon the hay
****
Lonely man wanders alone
His broken heart is healed when
Christ's love is revealed
The love that surpasses all loves
Is here for the taking
