A Friday of Goodness
Don't neglect to listen and see around you and feel its need for your love.
A Friday of Goodness
How can the world be so much trouble?
When there is much to do that we are able
So many people with less to spare
The abundance of love vanishes in the air
In all God’s creation I look around and find
The richest love in the simplest minds.
I want to be my very best
Always ready for love and kindness
I want to show how much I care
So others may too be aware
I look around it is deafening to hear
Of languages filthy and hatred so clear
Why a lion-like leader thinks he's king?
The birds are now too numb to sing
Why fill our world with all these?
I long again for birds to kiss.
Man, God proudly put you here
To follow His love and be sincere
Live joy and enjoy every bit of it
For we are the ones who fit
Make God’s other creatures be your friend
Show them care and love all thru the end
Our carousel world will then turn and turn
And the sun will shy for our world to burn.
Share a Friday and fill it with goodness
When everything is awake but helpless
Love your heart, pour another with love
Remember it is a gift from Above
Wipe a tear, cry for another
For we are on this Earth all together
Live like tall wheat dancing in a field
Praise God's glory, have time to yield.
