A Galaxy for Two

Updated on January 6, 2014

Lock up

The outside world
Wrap your arms around me
Melt away the ice
Off of my shoulders
Cradle my head
With the warm side
Of your face
Keep me internally
Lets leave this place

I tickle your neck
With the tip
Of my tongue
To create the sounds
Of a dieing angels song

Hold onto me tight
Sweep away
The outside world
Empty the dust pan
Blow a kiss to the past
Ill take you
To the center of the sun
Where we can begin to be

Downtown Vancouver
Downtown Vancouver | Source

Were floating

In an unexplainable orbit
Dancing in a meteor shower
I use the starlight
To melt ice down your back
The frozen shock
Allows nebulas to escape,
From your mouth

A tongue for your body
An eye for your mind
A satellite for our spirit
One signal combined

One passion,
For the pleasure
Of our Peace
A Spiral of Planets
For our Hearts
To release

I'm really happy that you asked me this question because i know exactly what your talking about. I'm not a religious person by any means, but i do believe in a universal spiritual connection between all things. I think that different types of raw human creativity channel into this spirituality. I feel that my best work comes when I'm not thinking too much with my own mind, but rather allowing it to come from beyond. I'm often quite surprised when i go back and read what I've written. Its almost as if i teach myself about myself through my writings. I feel a similar way about my photography.

You make me want more and more as your poems take me to never before explored places. Interesting question comes to mind - do you sometimes write poetry as if some force were leading you and then have to look back at what you wrote and think wow this is it? Just wondering because that happens to me.
