A Haiku - Patience
I was once impatiently learning patience.
"Everything comes to him who waits."
There are ways to wait.
The watched pot, the clock's ticking,
Measure our patience.
Is patience lost time?
Only if we watch it pass.
"Time will tell!" they say.
What time is it now?
It's time for being patient.
"Good luck follows bad."
Endure well and live.
Clouds, sun, rain, storm....all the same.
Peace is restful too.
Past worries fade some.
Not as grand as once they seemed.
Waters tend to calm.
Skies change all the time.
Nature does too, just like you.
Patience sees you through.
Pass the time calmly.
Think what time will bring to you.
Change is sure. What? When?
Patience as in chess.
Think five moves ahead of now.
Wasted time is lost.
Fill the empty time.
A book, a game, a language,
Patience gives us gifts.
It robs us of naught.
Reflecting moments is all.
Use them all wisely.
