A Haven Of Peace And Love.

For those of you who haven't read it here's a small recap .

("I sit here I am waiting for Priscilla the new Fundraiser from Ty hafan to visit ;Ty hafan being our only children's hospice here in Wales and with whom I have set up a fund in Erin's name called :-'Erin Jones Friend Of Ty hafan'

We have already raised over £4,000 for these beautiful children and today we are getting our heads together to hold a concert in Erin's name.")

Yesterday was my first meeting with Ty hafan's new fundraiser Priscilla and it was one of those meetings where you know you are going to be great friends.

We have decided to organise a children's Fun Day plus concert in one ;Priscilla knows a singer/songwriter/guitarist who would be only too pleased to sing for free for charity.

Dai also knows a guitarist who is partially sighted who would also love to help out. Wed are hoping to hold this Funday at our local Rugby club .

At the moment I am awaiting a return call from them. Then it'll be facepaints and Bouncy Castle for the little ones or maybe for the big kids too lol ; why should it only be the little ones having fun. Mind you I think I'll stick to the face paints; might be very wise !!Ha ha!

When I first set up Erin's fund I wanted to organise everything on my own and Phil our retired fundraiser would be in the background just in case....................

However today I am so glad for any help and I think this is a sign that I have moved on and am happy to share my baby's fund with others. Plus it would have been a charity on a much smaller scale without this help.

Priscilla was very interested in my writing which has been a therapy for me too and asked permission to share my email address with others who have charity friend groups with Ty hafan. One lady in particular has lost her son and even though this was expected it makes it no easier!!To cut along story short this lady has her own blog and the thought is that if we get together we could help others and as you can guess I am sure (those of you who know me) I needed no asking twice here !!

It sure looks as if Erin's trust fund is one ripple in a much larger pond and I am looking forward to seeing what else can transpire from this.

I hope you will enjoy today's hub and wish to add her that even though the fund is in Erin's name I also write in the memory of my beautiful sister Val who so tragically passed over in 1999.

My two angels of love.

My song choice for today is Jahmene Douglas a wonderful young man with such a soulful voice and one of the sweetest smiles ever.

Many people knock these talent competitions like X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and many others. However I think we should stop and remember all the good that has come from these TV programmes.

I cannot name them all but to name simply a handful ; Leona Lewis , JLS, Susan Boyle, Paul Potts, James Arthur and one of the latest is this wonderful singer.

There are also so many others from various genre ;dancers, comedians, and I could go on and on here.

Dai is not a fan of these Talent Competitions ;his argument being that years ago singers/bands had to work their way up on their own e.g. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Status Quo etc.

However times have changed and it lifts my heart to see these people being given a chance!!Ok many simply fizzle out ;some simply do not put the work into it all ;their only real interest was to win the show. However balance it all out and I think this will speak for itself.

A haven of peace

and

adorning each wall

colours of sweet

eternal happiness.

Dancing eyes

far stronger

than each disability

footsteps skipping

wheels in motion

each sweetheart

encased by

a halo of love

To draw characters

in strong colours

heartbeats a magical compendium of life's wonders.

Smiles reaching

in one flowing motion

to light up

each eye ;

each pool of wondrous sight.

A garden of wonder

a garden of hope

nature's scents reborn

into each young heart.

A heartfelt wilderness

of lives

entwined

with beauty and wonder

with smiles and happiness

with eternal love and care.

Butterflies resting

butterflies dancing

to the awesome tunes

of sweet infant voices;

so tender

so gentle

so bewitching !!

That shiver of emotion

deep down

in our

hearts and souls.

A trickling stream

a splitter and a gurgle;

a flowing indication

of a

shimmering new birth.

Flowing and weaving

around the soft pebbles of love;

dewdrops

teardrops

magical emotions;

young fingertips

test

God's fountain of love

in eternal flow.

United families gather strength

each soul supporting

loving

and

caring

in never ending measures.

To rest

to weep

for each life so short;

yet a life

so rich

so lived ;

These lives

cannot be measured

in the passing of years alone.

Bereaved parents

cared for

sensitively

tenderly

and

gently!!!

Each beautiful angel

way up in heaven;

compassion so apparent;

love ad care so evident

as they tenderly care for each babe

in arms.

Babes gone too soon

now embraced

in soft sweet warmth

of the angels up above

Pink was Erin's favourite colour hence these shirts ; however Dai will not wear anything pink at all but I managed to persuade him to wear the black shirt with pink text.

I think he only gave in because it was for Erin's fund ha ha!!
