A Look Through the Window

Updated on April 23, 2012

Morning light,

Welcomingly bright.

Sun reflecting

The snow's glittery white.

A child peers out.

Beams with delight.

At the snowflakes' fanciful flight.

Day for this child

Begins just right.

You are welcome, donnaisabella. And thank you. I too love views from windows. It's good to be able to see outside when you have to be in doors for whatever reason.

I love the view from windows whatever and wherever they may be. Looking through the window at a city covered in white snow must really be something, especially if it is the greetings of a new day. Nice piece. Thanks for sharing.
