Dear Not-So-Shiny-Knight In Armor...

Updated on April 23, 2011

A fun but genuine tribute to the Facebook page "Sometimes your knight in shining armor is just a retard in tin foil", AND to the ex's of all those women who can relate to that statement };-D

To Sir Gallant (the pseudo-knight)

You pretended to be a noble man,

A rescuer of tortured souls.

But yours was not a selfless plan,

Your quest was actually rather bold,

You are in fact a very selfish man,

And your heart is empty, dark and cold.

You told them that I am crazy,

That I'm an evil thing who lies.

Then you told them you're amazing

You even let them see you cry.

But I know what your game is,

And I'll not let you fool them twice.

You see, I have a plan in place this time,

And wisdom strengthens my resolve.

I intend to lay it all on the line,

My whole story must be told.

So I'll not sit alone in fear and cry,

I'll show my courage, I will be bold.

Your past success was in fooling people,

They were shown a gallant knight in armor.

Now my knowledge and understanding is deeper,

And I can expose you for what you are.

This time I won't be meek and feeble,

I'll prove that you're a tin-foil-clad retard!

I wish you well in court. The truth be known so you can have peace and move on with your life. Depending on they lawyers and judge before you will be the outcome. As I said in my first comment on your latest Hub. I have no faith in our Judicial system over here, I hope in your country they are more fair. Any man or woman who ABUSES one or the other should be chastised big time. The children should never be used as pawns against either parent, it seems that this ex has crossed that line of abuse. I wish you well and HATE is a sad word. I hope he seeks help and can get the LOVE of his children back before he meets his maker. Very sad indeed. Good luck. Peace and hugs.

    Hi Michelle.

Feel free to post links to my articles on your blog if you'd like. I don't mind if you include partial quotes too, but please don't quote anything in full.

    Glad you like the poem.

Thanks to you too my nutty friend MA! I always enjoy your comments and certainly hope I do "go get him" LOL. I made a promise to my kids and I intend to keep it. I just wish the system was working for me instead of against me...

Thanks Billy. Hopefully it will feel that way when I'm in court to. I think some of my poems are a bid to convince myself I have what it takes, and others (which were written when I was having a good day) are written to remind me that I can be strong. When all this is over I will once again be in that good place, but I still have a few days a month when I can't see the forest for the trees if you know what I mean...

I wish you all the best. I am so glad that you have the strength to fight for you and your children. The poem is a testament to that strength.
