A Society of Impropriety
There's never a quick fix for mistakes that have gone on so long,
The necessary action needed is never applied, is always wrong.
Better schools and education is always listed first, never gained,
Only greed and corruption serves the few, and now so ingrained.
Congress seems to allow anything, as long as it pays them well,
Illegal lists all get longer, as the public's attention begins to swell.
What ever to do, seems nothing's available, as their anger grows,
While cement sculptures over graves all number more in the rows.
The worse one disobeys, does badly, their honors never to cease,
Laughing and joking as if it matters not, as crimes all do increase.
Shame of a nation rests on their shoulders, upon each elected one,
Just what do we tell the new babes born, what fathers have done?
The great Father in Heaven and the Maker of all things on this earth,
Is very soon to evoke His wrath, a prediction of a people's own worth.
Big and small shall all fall in the seas, so sadly, the innocent to perish,
All to be lost in sin and neglect, a wonderful world that we all cherish.
Our Creator knows His innocent ones, grand, not be bad or go wrong,
Written in words and to worship the Lord, so many of most holy songs.
He will remember the ones who are evil, save many who are devoted,
The Biblical scriptures spelled for us all, shall come to fruition as noted.
