A Song of Gratitude, to my Brother Al Wordlaw

For your kindness, selflessness and inner beauty

Raindrops | Source

I felt the seeds of Your concern,

Touching me within like raindrops.

Like the Earth I absorbed them,

As they nourished my Heart-Petals,

Thus blossoming to new life.

Sweet, sweeter, sweetest Love,

Glowing in this Garden of Thankfulness,

My Heart emerged, only to marvel

At the beauty of orchids,

Calling out Thy name.

You’ve dropped a golden Pearl,

Right into my lap;

I’m now saturated, by Thy selfless boon.

My psychic tears run over,

Touched by this sacrifice supreme.

Beloved, what is my tiny offering to Thee?

Overburdened with duty,

The mother bleeds diligently,

Her tears a priceless raiment,

For the grandeur of Thy Kingdom.

The Sun, in all its splendour,

Blazes a trail across the firmament,

Cascading endless energy to Mother Earth,

Which, in all Her opulence,

Vigorously renews life.

Where then is the significance of my worth?

I feel the kernels of Your Grace,

Dancing within me like ‘sweet thrills.’

Nourishing my Gratitude,

I place my ALL, at Your Feet Divine.

      Brother Al,

What beautiful things to say! I feel blessed and touched by your powerful and yet sublime words.

I like Jackie Lynnley's explanation but although mine is different, I like her and I feel sure that she will agree with me. I do this for God; for the God in humanity. I am a servant. I strive to inspire, to elevate; to carry a Light to; to awaken; to reach the Heart ... this is my sole purpose, not only on Hub Pages, but in my approach at work, in life ...

Whenever I feel that I have failed, like recently, I go away and reflect then return to try again. I seek no gain but God's love, knowing that the same Light that shines in me, shines also in others, for we are all the Masters children.

Bro its been a pleasure to write for you. Your own perception to me is of a very high standard and full of Love. Let us continue, let us continue ...

      Much Peace.

      From Al Wordlaw:

      Hey my brother Manitita,

You've outdone me. I'm as speechless as a flying dove, gliding with humanity blessed from above. I give what I have. I give like there's a hole in the bottom of my treasures and the treasures are not mine to hold on to. You are a giving brother. You see the very best in people.

You're very humble. It takes a blessed brother to know one. I thank you. For a brother to honor another brother as you do is typically unimaginable. You do it with vastness of grace, class and spirituality.

You picked the perfect day to reveal this reflection that I apparently earned, a day that I am spending more and delicate time with my Heavenly Father. I am to the core, honored. I feel the warmth the your readers. They also have hearts of gold that never gets old. I wish you and even I, could write about ALL of them but there are just too many. If I named them then some would be left out so, i won't do it.

(Back to me) Well, this one's for me so I'll close and say, there'll never be another, like the super expressive brother that I see in you and your distinctive contribution here within Hub Pages. I thank you for blessing and recognizing my offerings. There have been times that I didn't want to write about certain things but rather I was compelled to do so.

It's about loving humanity and as our sister hubber, Jackie Lynnley said recently, I don't do it for the money but for the love of my fellows and sisters. Overall, I feel like I have nothing to lose by giving but something may be gained. At last, I give you my thankfulness in return: my gratitude for your being God's humble servant.

      Hey Ruby.

Aren't you writing anymore? Maybe it's me. I took a six or seven week break. You know that you are special to me and your sentiments are always appreciated. Much Love.

      Al, equally .. God bless.

Hi Nadine. So nice to touch base once more. Much gratitude to you.

      Yes Dora,

I do not know why, but this whole page fills full of Light, and I do not mean only my work. Thank you, thank you. Much Love, as always.

Yes, Mary. I just alluded to this. This page would make my Teacher happy. It is like a flower garden where each beautiful flower is playing its part in one continuous harmony. An orchestera of orchestras with a sublime and lofty melody, wafting its beautiful fragrnce. Giving and receiving this game of life, what more does anyone need? Peace, my sweet Sister.

I will look for the voting buttons.

I feel it, Bill, I feel it. Must be the New York Pilgrimage.

      Yes Marlene,

You write with much wisdom. Again, did'nt our Lord say this? We tend to forget, sometimes. Yes, a beautiful sentence. Keep on keeping on, my Friend. In Love and Light.

Thank you so much, Audrey. Truly appreciated.

You have shown much honor to your brother with this poem. The music dedication is a true gift. I have been blessed by relaxing to the warmness of the instrumentation. My favorite line in the second video sums up gratitude quite nicely, "When we live in gratitude, our giving becomes receiving."
