A Soul Resurrected

I am soul .

I am spirit.

I am soul living a human experience.

I have come to realize that it is the soul in me that is the resurrection and extension of God. I believe we each are an extension of God. We are created in his image.

I ponder this awakening of truth;

I look at my life as if I were looking from the outside in. I see that I am a soul living in a human body. I review my life in my minds eye and in my memory and I smile. I look back and I look forward. I think about how it is funny that I have been resurrected to be human this time around. I don't know if you believe in past lives as I do. I cannot recall exactly where I have been in my past lives. But I can certainly tell you what I have learned in this lifetime. I have learned and continue to learn to be human.

I realize that this sounds funny. Please stay with me and read further on before you move on:

We are born into this life as an infant. We are taught from the very beginning of life, how to eat, how to crawl, how to walk, how to talk, what to think, where to go, how to go and what to do. If I expound on my theory, our soul is born into a human body to play the game of a human life on this board game we call planet earth.

As we grow we learn, we make choices, we choose the path we take with the environment and circumstances we are raised with. We learn a lot about rules. We learn about how to behave, we learn about what is good to eat and keep us healthy and alive in this human body. We learn a lot about communication and how clarity is important.

We learn from our mistakes. These are our true lessons , "mis - takes". If I refer to a movie scene, there are times when on set things will not go as intended and therefore, "TAKE 2" comes into play. We do this in reality. We live, we learn and we sometimes see how our choices do not take us to where we imagined we would go or be. And so, we try again, "TAKE 2, 3, 4,....#". The hardest lessons we learn are from our greatest mis-takes!

It is funny how as we age, we continue to re-learn the same things over and over again. When we begin a new school, there are rules to follow and lesson plans to create an agenda for. When we begin a new job, there are rules to follow, schedules to keep, etc.. We "learn" to be human by being obedient.

What is in the next life for me ? For you? I cannot say for certain, as I am here now.

But I can tell you this from what I have learned;

I have learned to set my human EGO (Id, Ego, Super Ego) aside. As this is the human brain rational that is most challenging to the soul. It is the darker part of our personality that requires constant discipline because of its need for recognition and pampering. When in truth, I have learned that when I live straight from the heart, my vibrational energy is much brighter and pure. For I am truly living when I live out of my heart. My soul beats to the drum of my heart in being human. And I thank God for this gift of life every day.
