Walk With Me On A Summer Day - Poem
The sun is shining warm and bright
The sky is clear with blue and white clouds up above
The grasses are green
The farm fields are green
Fields of corn, wheat and potatoes
Apple trees blooming
Surrounded by the green covered mountains
Beautiful flowers with brilliant colors in the garden
A summer day so alive
These beautiful sceneries catch my eyes.
Warm sunrays penetrate my skin
My body is perspiring.
A refreshing bath in the lake
Enjoying swimming in the blue green clear water.
The smell of grill meat
With young sweet corn, peppers, eggplant, zucchini
All these awaken my appetite.
A summer day so alive
People walking, swimming, biking.
Others do windsurfing, sailing
Some with motorboats in the lake.
Some taking a roundtrip with a ship
Some are sun bathing.
Children are playing
Dogs with their master walking and swimming
My dog lying under the shade of the big tree.
A beautiful warm season of the year
I always welcome with pleasure
Remembering at home
Where the weather is always warm
A summer season the whole year round.
Summer days
Lots of fun
Let us enjoy
Every summer day that comes.
