A Thunderstorm of the Heart

A thunderstorm of the heart
“Lay on my chest my love…can you hear that?”
“Hear what, sweet one?”
“Wind.”
“Wind?”
“Oh yes my love, a dazzling wind swirling around my heart.”
“Mmm, I’m not sure I hear it darling.”
“Really, it’s the sound my heart makes when it picks up speed by the sight of you. Can’t you hear it?”
“Ahh I think I do my sweet.”
“What about the thunder?”
“Thunder?”
“Yes, a glorious thunder rumbling deeply within my chest.”
“Tell me sweet, what is this thunder I’m hearing?”
“It’s the sound of my heart pounding dangerously by the feel of you.”
“What a lovely sound.”

“Indeed. How about the lighting?”
“Lightning!”
“Yes, that striking sound of crackling lightning hitting my heart.”
“Maybe, will you tell me what it sounds like?”
“Of course my love, it is the sound of electricity you send to my heart by the touch of you.”
“Ahh, I definitely can hear it now.”
“Good. Now what about the rain?”
“Rain?”
“Oh yes, that magically soothing sound of rain falling heavily.”
“Tell me my dear, what is this rain I hear?”
“It’s the sound of my blood flowing swiftly through my veins to my heart by the love radiating from you.”
“What a magnificent sound, my sweet.”
“Do you know what you’re hearing my love?”
“Haven’t the slightest idea.”
“You’re hearing a thunderstorm of the heart. The most brilliant storm one can ever experience but no one ever sees. Every day that I am with you, my love, do I experience such a storm. Only you can make my heart blow wind. Only you can make my heart create thunder. Only you can make my heart strike lightning. Only you can make my heart pour rain. And only you can hear the thunderstorm brewing inside my heart because without you it won’t be there.”

“Oh my darling sweet, what a wonderful way of saying you love me and I guess now I will have to spend my life making sure this storm is continuous.”
“And how, may I ask, are you planning to do that?”
“Well, my sweet there is only one way to make sure of this.”
“And that would be?”
“To make sure you can always see me. To make sure you always feel me. To make sure I’m always touching you. And to make sure you can always feel my love.”
“How in the world can you do that we can’t always be by each other?”
“It’s very simple my sweet. I will just never let you go and I will hold you in my arms for the rest of my life lavishing in the sound of your thunderstorm.”
“And what will I do my love?”
“You will lavish yourself in the sound of mine.”

This is beautiful indeed. One can really imagine the situation you were trying to portray. You have done a wonderful job here. Thumbs up!
And oh! Can you hear the thunderstorm in my heart after reading this? ;)
If i had to detail a beautiful intimate moment, this would be it. Your words are so wonderfully true. when I read this I seen myself back in college with a girl I cared about, even though it wasn't as deep and lovely as this work, but I remember my heart beating quickly, and it definitely felt like a thunderstorm of my heart.
WOW, I mean WOW! I loved it, dramatic, romantic, sweet, awesome!
Amazing Tatee, I really love it. It gives one a deeper appreciation of the "term" love you went above and beyond describing the feelings associated with it. Your work depicts beautiful imagery w/o the pictures. Great Piece sissy, I have some catching up to do lol :)
You have that ability to give a new twist to the existing imagery. Your wordplay is awesome.
