A Worth Greater Than Skin Deep
Any person's skin's color, no matter of its racial hue, or its tone,
Does not equal their worthiness, inside each, by what is shone.
Each special babe born of their mother, value beyond compare,
A child of our Father God, greater than gold in worth, all as rare.
Lying beneath every one, unseen in character, daughter or son,
Rests an immense treasure chest, revealed as all's lives are run.
What precious gifts these beloved members bequeathed in kind,
Not depending upon skin color, so valuable, give peace of mind.
Around the world of oceans and a beauty of mountain's majesty,
The people adding color all across these lands with a certainty.
An untold radiance inside each one, equal only, light of the sun,
As each dawns in brilliance to begin, and at its setting, each one.
Fine worthiness greater than skin deep, beneath lies real beauty,
Grand contributions to all humanity, waiting to be shared, to see.
Just giving a chance to each, a respectful regarding in measure,
Brings out the best of all, its sharing with a smile, in its pleasure.
