A writer can get inspiration and ideas from all over the place. Ideas can come to you at any moment and a good writer always has the means to jot them down.

Where can a writers Inspiration come from?

- Listening to Music
However somedays nothing may come and that can be frustrating. It is on these days you need to look a little harder at the world around you and spend time reading the papers and browsing the Internet. Even looking through old holiday snaps and postcards can give you some great ideas. Even paintings and digital artwork is inspiring.
If you are struggling for ideas then take a walk as the fresh air will do you good and you may even find some inspiration while you are out and about. Go to the park and sit on one of the benches. Watch others as they go about their daily lives and make notes about their mannerisms etc. You will get some great characters for your stories and even stories from a day just sat observing the world around you.
Hubpages and Inspiration
Here on Hubpages there are lots of things to read and comment on. For me one of the best places on here for inspiration is the Q&A section. This is full of questions to get you thinking and writing.
Hubs themselves are great at getting the creative juices flowing and the comments section can be full of great topical debate about the given subject. It is the same with the Forums on here to.
