A Little love goes a long way
I look around Trinbago and what do I see
beautiful faces across the country,
birds are chirping sweetly, as they fly
from tree to tree. Sunshine stretch across
the sky, making wonderful sceneries for us
to enjoy as we look on admiringly. Children
are playing, laughing and skipping like little lambs.
Some are wild like bees on honey, trying to
Keep themselves happy as can be.
A little love is what we need to go
from day to day. A little love can go
miles away, our little ones are so
dear to us, we must nurture and
cherish them willingly. My friend
you see they are the future of this lovely
country.
Parents I urge you to take
up the slack or no one will take it
for you. It’s your duty don’t shun
your responsibilities, teach them
manners and respect, for everyone.
Show them how to love and care
and what it really means to share.
Teachers have their path to, giving
children a sound education to secure their
future. You see school is just like having
a second family to further improve your
child’s ability.
A little more love is what we all need,
my elders ensured that I was on the
right path, by giving me the love and
guidance that I needed.
Now I can share them
with you ,to help you make a wise
decision for your family. My goal is
to make other’s proud just like me,
by working very hard and diligently
towards great success!!
