~~~A poem Blast of Thunders in the Sky~~~

The clouds are dark grey a spooky

look smeared across the skies. Suddenly

there was a crashing sound as the rain

drops beat upon the earth. Winds are blowing

so strongly, swaying trees like crazy

as their branches bends over making

arches as they touch the earth.

An outburst of thunder blasted through

The sky so loudly everyone scamper

for safety. Peeking through my window

to see how rainy it looks outside. A quick

an powerful lighting flickers and cuts

right through the sky, dividing clouds and

sending them from side to side.

Its feel so scary I must stay inside. Run

to my bed for safety, cover my ears with

my pillows to drown out the pounding rain drops

that sounds like someone is beating drums

upon my galvanize , the crashing sounds

of thunder bolt makes me want to scream

and hide. My eyes are shut tightly so

that I won’t see the lightening as it keeps flashing

through my glass window as though someone

is taking pictures outside.

I prayed and hope that soon the sun will start

to shine and then everything will be just fine.
