A snapping time

Updated on April 2, 2010

A quiet snapping time, when every noise seems to reflect something inside of you, where every movement gives me a clue there is a world out there beyond me, beyond you.

How exciting it can be. How appealing like a drum leader calling us into a dance line. Dancing into battle, really look now, closer to how we move because the dance can trick is. Trick our feet like we are all destined for battle.

So breathe deeply. Breath deeply now, and calm your quiet back down. Listen to how quiet it is .So quiet the snapping could snap me to sleep.

A messenger he sends an Angel guardian to speak to us, to hold our ears for us to listen. Give us the ability to hear what's closest to us.

They speak so clearly to never let us miss the message sent.

Our strength to live, our strength to die, they give us Jesus for a moment, to feel his warmth, and to touch his grace.

A messenger he sends to us when it's too quiet and painful. This is where he holds us. While we listen and rest, cry and pray. A messenger he sends.

A messenger he sends to us. Life with its blizzards and ups and downs, all the spaces in between and out. Give me some space, let me speak.

Let me speak so loud so loudly all you can hear is my lips move in and out of where you live.

He's helping us. Pulling ourselves from the grasp reality tries to take us to. Here he holds us prisoners of his love. Always listening over my shoulder, listening for something to happen, listening for one of us to explode.
