A time telling of truth

Updated on April 4, 2010

Never ending sea

A time telling of truth stared me strait into my face. A minute of failure an hour of denial. A gut feeling deep inside me. A mixture a potion of my heart and soul.

You pushed me finding deep inside a forest of thought. Darkness where a slipping stream comforted me into silence.

I have flowers in the spring. They left me. They died to never come again. Knowing what his deception is. I'm crawling to walk. Learning myself in an education of sin. All of this mingling dying together. Every one of them. Of us.

Each for me. Each because of me.

Swimming trying to reach the bottom of this never ending sea. That my silent stream feeds.

Please God just let me drown peacefully.

I know your last note is to RevLady, but I began praying for you when I read this after finding it while looking for hubs on truth. I am working on something different, but my heart went out to you. Your bio is interesting when compared to your writing. I don't know enough about your concerns, but I would like to mention an old quote, "Sin is as bad as God says it is." I hope you will ask God to help you believe what He says to you. May I suggest a NASB or an ESV for you to read as you pray.

I'm curious RevLady if you can give me more insight into what you mean by your statement? I was in a state of self reflection and knowing how many times I have let myself be decieved and falling into that deception as if it were the truth..and then I wake up to see the calamity surrounding me all that has been wronged and lost...Where sin can take us really is the point of this poem. Sin against ourselves, sin against God, and sin against others..
