A Calming spew: A POEM
A Calming spew: A POEM
Quick to the full
My hand is spread
To take its chill
Like a sweetened bread
Give us your dose
Like a scented rose
Drop it from above
To calm every soul
In need of a lull
Its splash is a heavenly balm
With a soothing calm
Oh! Nature’s gift
Do not bring rift
Shine your laugh at us
Make our heart pause
And speak of your delight
Feed us your warmth
Oh! Earth’s mother
Your fresh night breeze, we ponder
Lightning blitz
Our thoughts in bliss
Rapturous thunders
Meanderings in echoes
Pour on us your cold chill
And take the night’s heat for a steal
Your worthy input is well appreciated Oyebola Ololade Kolawole-oloyede
May your ink never dry...
