Actions Speak Louder

How you gunna get her name

Are you really that lame

You say how you gunna come for me

Yet you seem to be makin’ her your queen

I’m home attendin’ our son

While you makin’ her come undone

If I’m the one you gunna make your wife

How come you be given her all your life

I cook, clean, an’ cater to you baby

She try, but she will never measure up to me

I think you know I’m the one wit the heart

The one who would die for you rather than dart

So keep up wit your frontin’ an’ lyin’ ways

Actions speak louder than words today

Yet words are all you spew nowadays

Get a clue cuz I’m onto you ya foo’

One of these days you gunna wake

To find you were jus a faze

And I’ll jus be a memory in your daze

Sure, light it up, drink it up, snort it up

Get high while I jus wave goodbye

You had a woman who was ride an’ die

But you forgot to romance her needs

Now your face streams wit wet beads

I’m long gone and where is she

She flipped the scrip and left you as you left me

Now you all alone wishin’ and missin’

The family who was your true lovin’

Your foolish ways you be regretin’

If only you had been true to what God had blessed you

Cast your vote for Actions Speak Louder
