A writer, vlogger and poet; that nitezens named him as a "lunatic poet".

What a great joy in my eyes,
to see a blue clouds in the skies
Different shapes formed;
like a scarlet flowers bloomed

To see a rainbow touches in the tulip flower
To see the sunlight spreads towards Eiffel tower
To hear the beautiful song of robin
and to feel the white crystal rain

But feeling of great joy will be felt inconstantly,
because when the clouds' gone, they'll be felt differently
So, time is impossible to hold,
and so with the fading color when things getting old

In a Gothic cathedral where I met you,
as fast as thunder you passed by, though
Seeing faces but names unrecognized
Don't ask me why, haven't you realized?

You know how I wanted to hold you everyday,
because it makes my heart gay
and I wanted to be with you, but I can't,
nothing could, even with alluring chant

To you my new pal goodbye
The acquaintance of ours would never die
In another time and place, see you
always remember that we've known each other, so adieu!

Lloyd B. de Guzman

*It was October, 2008 when I wrote this poem while teaching in college as part-time instructor. Unexpectedly, in the middle of semester, Department of Education (DepEd) called me to report for substitution in public school. On the next day, in line with the topic discussing three famous poems...getting and explaining the meaning of each line, I then followed the fourth poem. They were shocked because they thought I would only be discussing three poems. I let them copy the lines of this poem; explaining that the poet wanted to say goodbye. I asked them about it. They answered, "It's great sir!". Then, I told them right away saying, "Don't you know class that I wrote it last night and it took for four hours for me to finish it? I wrote it just for you because this would be the last meeting...see you somewhere, sometime.". They're saddened and few REALLY started to cry. Then, I said, "Adieu!" It's the last word they heard from me.

"You know how I wanted to hold you everyday,
because it makes I my heart gay
and I wanted to be with you, but I can't,
nothing could, even with alluring chant

To you my new pal goodbye
The acquaintance of ours would never die
In another time and place, see you
always remember that we've known each other, so adieu!"

*I mentioned Gothic cathedral because the school is located in front of St. Michael's cathedral.
