Adventures of a Wandering 3rd Eye pt.1
Art from Adventure
These collections of poems come from my adventures up and down the west cost. The photos that go along with the poetry were taken with either my camera or cell phone on the way. I then edited and modified them to better fit the mood of the poetry. I really wanted to bring the readers of my poetry along with me for the journey and give them a chance to see through my eyes so to speak.
Pulling Over
Unmarked road Service engine Screaming toads Missing you Which way to go Learning to lose Losing control Stomping my feet Crushing dried leaves Piled beneath The barren trees Regaining the blood flow Pulling my head together Before returning To that unmarked road
Dirty Windshield
I wont stop To wash it The lines on the road are making me dizzy Narrowing my sight Nauseating tunnel vision Roll down the window Cool air ventilation Easing my mind Out of the neurotic Sensations Sunlight is fading As i watch the bugs Spatter on the glass Moonlight be my guidance Today Came and went So fast Fighting to keep My eyes on the road My thoughts Uncomfortably squirm Like a bowl Filled with worms
