The Creator is the Difference a Day Makes

Updated on February 17, 2014

Qualify Your Day

"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24).

Today and every day is a day the Creator has made; it is good, perfect and great. Why is it a good day? It is because the Creator made this day and every day, and when He created it He made it good, perfect and great. It takes a breakthrough to see the possibilities and absoluteness of a day from the standpoint of who created it.

He is good, perfect and great and that is what makes a day thus so. Nothing and no one can stop any given day from being what the Creator made it to be. There are no prevailing or unfolding dramas that can alter a day from being good, past present or future. It is never going to be the activities or happenings in a day that make it good, perfect and great. It will always be who created the day that makes it what He is and declares it to be, good.

The ultimate good of each day will always be dependent on the Creator and nothing and no one else. The structure of the day doesn’t change because our situations and circumstances change or become favorable; we change to improve the structures of our days to agree with Him. If all the good we experience in a day is advantageous and satisfactory that doesn’t make it a good day, no more than if it rains or is sunny.

It is who made the day that makes it good and faith in Him makes every day a good day. One in which we should be thankful, appreciative and grateful for regardless if the outcome is favorable or unfavorable. We do the good we know to do and hope and pray that others will do their part as well. Ascertaining within ourselves that every good, great and perfect thing comes from the Creator is the remedy for facing every day with hope and expectation that the events of the day will be good.

Creation and everything created is a miracle because it is beyond any and every creature's ability to produce and re-produce. No one can create a day and that makes the Creator the difference every day makes.

The Quality of the Day

Everything that is good in the world is ordained to comply, conform, obey and follow the divine order set forth for the prosperity of the day.

The Creator did not create or make a bad day, and sin can never turn any day into a bad day, but by interpretation, not revelation. It is the rejection of His provisions that create and are bad decisions. It is a bad decision not to be thankful everyday. We can change a bad decision of not being thankful at anytime, if we choose to.

Have you ever encountered someone having a bad day? Or consider yourself when you think you're having a bad day? There is complaining, dissatisfaction and other feelings involved, yet it is only the events of the day, the day in and of itself doesn't change to comply with the events, the events of the day must comply with the goodness of the day. Be thankful every day and praise the most Honorable, the Creator.

Thanking Him for who He is means that we appreciate and respect Him as Creator. We are still learning how to be thankful to Him, not just for all that He has done and provided, but for who He is. It is not until we can see that everything we use in the earth to make anything, a house or a car, that the origin of what is used to make these things was created by the Creator; the substance and materials used for everything began with Him. He is the Maker of all things and creatures.

Our first words as children should be thank you Creator, God, Father and Lord. We learn to graciously extend to Him gratitude. Yet we owe Him gratitude for every day we live. The psalmist inspires us in Psalm 100:4-5, to enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts, then go into His courts with praise, be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; and his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. He assigned His mercy to be everlasting because He knew we would need it a long, long time. Thank you, Lord for your mercy.

The Defining Moments in the Day

Defining moments help to define what manner of person we really are and who we desire to become.

The point in this and the following paragraphs, is having respect for the Creator, and acquiring the confidence we need to live, because He is maker of us all. Who the Creator is abases all the fears I may have. Fears must bow at the thought of Him. In Him I live, move and have my being. In Him is where faith begins.

Living in a world where racism for instance exists, but doesn’t have the right to live, is a rude awakening. The life of racism would have to be qualified, and for me it just exists, there is no life in it because it is a dead work of darkness, another bad decision.

One has to be dead in trespasses and sins, and in utter darkness to entertain such a paradigm of racism. It is inane to me how one can hate or dislike someone based on the color of their skin and not the content of their character. Bad character is far much worst than what color a person may be. It has been the most discombobulating issue to deal with in this world. The fact that the Creator has created all people diverse and different in sundry ways and yet, some creatures have a problem with that, is indeed confusing.

This is one of the attitudes that pointedly show me how confused the creature is and that stance is both contaminating and toxic. Only respect and reverence for creative rights will give the proper perspective and revelation of who is truly in charge, no matter what is going on in the world today. We know that we are in the world and we define our location, and we that know we are not of a world system which the Creator is excluded and that He has not authorized and given His permission to operate.

It is only respect for His right to create a person any color He chose to that makes racism less and less of a menace. Racism is a call to contact the Creator because it is obvious there are questions that only the Creator can answer for the racist. How to communicate this truth for me will be the challenge of every day. It is something one must resolve for their self.

Living in a world we did not create, nor were we instrumental in creating it, is the defining moment. The only question we can ask ourselves is what right do we have? Seeing that the only right thing to choose would be the Creator’s right. Choosing His righteousness produces it in us unto exponential rewards which provide professional, technical and strategic advisory services to the world's built and natural environment and the universal operational order we were designed to cooperate in. We are not our own, we were brought with a price called the blood of Jesus Christ.

He unconditionally loves us, meaning there are no conditions from the standpoint of absolute love. To absolutely love someone you would have to know their uprisings and downfalls and thereby you accept them, never being in agreement with their wrongs. Love is not void of acceptance; it just excludes focusing on the wrong. To love someone there has to be compassion. I can see mercy and forgiveness in the operation of love. To embrace the love of God is to believe that nothing can separate us from his love because it is absolute and we can put our faith in it. Today I can believe it is a good, perfect and great day only because who created it is absolute and immutable.

Absolute means entire, unconditional, total, complete, pure, free from restrictions, definite and unquestionable. Does that sound familiar? Who does that sound like? To describe a day, there are many descriptions we can render. However, only one holds to truth always, that a day is absolute, because the maker of the day is absolute. The operations or occurrences in a day may not be absolute and subject to resolves, but the Creator will never be subject to any critique or uncanny dialogue.

The adjective absolute describes the Creator on every level. The light He indwells is absolute, yet for us light is not absolute because part of the breakdown of our day there is darkness. Nevertheless the day is still absolutely good, great and perfect because of what He has done. It is interesting how we have been bombarded with thinking and reasoning that doesn’t match the Creator. In time and space we perceive a day not to be good based on the events and occurrences of the day not being good.

Whether the events of the day transpire for good or bad will never change the fact that it is a good day. Everything in the day can go awry and that is not evidence enough to disqualify the good of the day. Beloved it is a good day, rejoice and be glad in it.

The Secret of the Day

The secret of living the good of every day is to resist the desire to complain. Below are the words to a song entitled, "I Won't Complain" you may have heard it and know it. If you have heard it then you know that the words are inspiration and ointment towards changing the attitude and perspective about living the day complaint free. I pray it inspires change in you as well. It is a song that may bring tears to your eyes, let them fall. Tears cleanse away toxins. You can tell that whoever wrote this song was pressing through, and they gained their victory with a good report and decision not to complain:

I WON'T COMPLAIN

I've had some good days,

I've had some hills to climb

I've had some weary days,

I've had some sleepless nights

But when I look around,

And think things over

All of my good days,

They outweigh my bad days

So I won't complain

Sometimes the clouds hang low

I can hardly see the road,

And then I ask the question Lord

why so much pain?

But He knows what's best for me

Although my weary eyes can't see,

So I'll just say thank you Lord

I won't complain

God's been so good to me

The Lord has been so good to me,

More than this old world

Or you could ever be,

The Lord has been so good to me

And he dried my tears away,

And he turn all my midnights into days

So I'll say thank you Lord

I just say thank you Lord

I'll just say thank you Lord

I wont complain..

That's the secret of living a good day, resist complaining.

The Decision of the Day

We are informed in Romans 8, what can be known of the Creator is manifested everywhere in the world and even in us who hold the truth, for He has revealed it to us through creation. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that we are all without excuse. Because when we know God or say we know Him and choose not to glorify Him as Creator and are not thankful, we become vain in our imaginations and our foolish hearts become darkened and produces complaints, rather than thankfulness.

It is a foolish heart not to acknowledge, and respect whose world we live in. We learn this lesson from our childhoods in adolescence; we learn who the boss of the home is, and that we are subject to live as we are instructed under their roof. How much different is it living in a world we did not create? Yet this is reversed somehow. Before learning that our parents are the governing powers of our home, we need to learn, who created the world and what that entails first and foremost and that the home is covered under God. Only in retrospect, can I attest to the fact, I would have wanted to know whose world I was living in.

We combat many diverse issues as we sojourn here on earth. Yet what does any issue we have to face have to do with who created the world or a day? The operation and blueprint of the Creator is drastically different from the creature. Do we resemble a creature that knows that we know, our Creator?

The earthly operations which make up the operating system of the world are not the same as the Creator’s blueprint. It is astounding how acceptance of the natural or earthly status and estate of the world influences a day. Nevertheless anything that conflicts with the absolute order of a day is really a deception. We all need the shift under what makes the day absolute regardless of all opposition or the reality of what it means to cast every care upon who is great wouldn’t have much relevance to us. We have to believe that He cares about us because He created us.

The glory of the incorruptible Creator has been changed into an image made like to corruptible man. The truth of the Creator has been changed into a lie and worship of the creature is more than the Creator who is blessed forever.

Clearly I see the purpose of why the mind must be renewed through the transformation process and an overhaul to limitations which minimize the greatness of God must be dealt with. It is also evident how the casting down of imaginations which exalt themselves against the knowledge of God must be untwined in our thinking. In Psalm 118:24, the psalmist encourages and instructs on the attitude needed for living each day. He begins with this is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. He didn’t merely accept it for himself, but alluded to the inclusion of others doing the same thing, he said we will rejoice and be glad in it.

The rejoicing we are encouraged to do in the day comes from acknowledging the Creator and knowing how to rejoice and in be glad in Him alone. It is respect for who made the day and believing that only He has the blueprint for living any day. What happened yesterday, yesteryear and yester centuries can’t disannul the fact that those too were good, perfect and great days only because He is the greatness of every day. Nothing can change the good of any day, only the perceptions we have concerning it are in need of modifications. There has never been, nor presently is, nor will there be adequate reasoning for the failure of a day being good, great and perfect, come what may we are finite and limited and we know impart. The knowledge we obtain concerning God should be absolute and unwavering and translated in wisdom. Wisdom the right use of what we know and using what we know correctly, which requires and means practical every day application. Every day is a day to hold fast to the truth we have about the day and its maker.

Perceptions and pre-conceived ideas about a day can change at in second of the day, yet the good of the day will go unchanged. Activities and happenings of a day have a way of swerving our perceptions about it. There aren’t any circumstances, situations and conditions that can alter the status of a good day. We will have to go through all types of diverse events as we live each day, the most important thing to remember is the day is immutable in being a good day. Oftentimes, some may ask us, how is your day going? Or how was your day? Reluctantly at these times we may respond that we are not having a good day. Why because things are not going the way we hoped that it would or circumstances are not up to par level? Whatever the reasons may be can’t change the reality that it is a good day, it will take changing our perspective about the day with all of its challenges.

Why don’t we as creatures believe and declare each day to be good, great and perfect? Why do we allow the happenings of the day to dictate whether it is or will be a good day? The compliance of these events with good doesn’t necessitate whether a day will be successful, it is the Creator who made the day. Agreement with Him is the only absolute option. To concur that it is not a good day because of oppositions and challenges is not the best or a good report. Whatsoever things are good in a day are things to be thankful for as well.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

Beloved, It really is a good day! Grace and peace go with you today and everyday.

Some interesting meditations and thoughts you've proffered here Mabel Henry, although I don't agree with the image of the first photo, because:-

      Psalm 24:1

" The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein...." ( King James Bible ).

      Yours Sincerely,

      R.Q.

      Dear Mabel Henry,

That is just marvellous, and you are such a fine woman for actually paying heed to your readers - it just looked a bit evil, that's all, and absolutely no reflection upon you personally, because you are always working so hard to bring us words which admonish, uplift and encourage on this wonderful journey of life. Thank you, and please feel free to remove any of my comments.

      With Sincerest Regards,

      R.Q.

Hi Romeo, I hope you are having a good day! Thanks for dropping in and commenting. I went back and looked at the photo again; my premise for it was the Creator holding the world in His hand. As I gazed at the photo closer it appears to be the hand of a woman from the nails. Is that what you saw? Moreover, I changed it.

      Dear Mabel Henry,

I saw a red hand with long claws holding the earth in its hand - call me picky, but didn't look like the Lord's hand to me lol!

Thanks again, and have a lovely weekend dear Mabel,

      With Kind Regards,

I apologize for that, it was only after I looked at it again did I see the nails which triggered an immediate change. I am glad you commented. Have a good weekend too!
