I personally am not a huge fan of reading manual style books however America is an Idea by Michael Cyrus Pousti interested me because I had never really heard of empowr before and the concept interested me. I found it interesting that the current president of the company was voted in by the users. As far as social media use goes I tend to stick with Facebook and Twitter once in while, but I wanted to learn about empowr and possibly join the site.

As I opened the book I came face to page with the table of contents, I have to say it is a bit of an eyesore with how every chapter line is bracketed by lines above and below it. It actually kind of hurt my eyes just looking at it. However I urge you to fight past your urge to close the book if you have any interesting in learning the answer to the why.

I was somewhat leery going in as I expected the book to use a lot of difficult to understand technical jargon. I was very happy to learn that the book was written in plain and simple easy to understand English. In fact America is an Idea by Michael Cyrus Pousti actually had a rather nice flow to it. The book begins with the author looking back in time on what made him decide to create empowr. This part of America is an Idea by Michael Cyrus Pousti reads quite like a journal or a diary. So if you are not a maths person do not despair you will still understand this book. On Page 120 of America is an Idea by Michael Cyrus Pousti the author has a nice summary section that sums up all the negatives in four simple bullet points so the reader can make sure that they remember all that he or she just read.

I also felt like I had actually learned a lot about the United State's government and many of the problems that plague it.
