Thank you Suzanne! Indeed--fists work well--I wrote this piece at a time when stress was just so up for me!

I must admit, I was a little puzzled when reading your poem. Firstly, I thought of some naughty things. Then I realized you were talking about holding stress balls in your hands. Then, as I do not have any stress balls, I re-read your poem and thought of clenching my fists and that did the trick. A very easy to read poem and an unusual topic! Voted interesting.

Stress balls are an interesting concept. I've never used one, but I bet they help.

      hehehe...

Let's try it one more time,

      ready!

      BREATHe...

      Clench...

      BREATHe harder...

Then expel, yeah that's more like it...

did it work for you, lol.

Just learnt another way to kill stress. :) thanks

Deep breathing really is good for stress, isn't it? Putting out the fire is a great analogy. You have such a unique way of writing. Ann

Good, Audrey. Occasionally you can even throw a stress ball at the object of your stress. That is, if you wanted.

      Okay Audrey,

Have you been secretly sitting beside of me?

      Smiles.

      As always, excellent work.

Some days require one for each hand. What's that saying about busy hands? Clench, unclench, breathe in, exhale out. Ready for tomorrow. Voting up!nThanks for sharing
