To Appease
An Ode to Appease
When he can look upon your countenance
The laugh lines and wrinkles that touch you outward
Sees the flaws yet gently touch them
with hand's in loving fashion and it does not seem to matter
Lovingly looks at the scars that life has bestowed
yet sees them not
When gentle eyes glazed with passion
turns to you and laments what heavenly pleasure
If he offers the world, yet you require it not
Be he not bothered by trivialities, the locks which grow
the texture, and style, but instead looks within and sees his future
then sigh with gladness of the heart
You are truly loved
