An Ode to Food: A Poem


Succulent, savory,

Salty and sweet,

Flavorful, fragrant,

Delicious and nutritious,


Steaming hot pizza,

A tasty cheese platter,

Soft pretzels from the mall,

And a 7-layered birthday cake,


There's fast food or gourmet,

Home-cooked or zapped in a microwave,

Crunchy snacks or a fancy 3 course meal,

But to us, it's all breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
