Angelic voices sounding from above:a sonnet dedication
This is a little sonnet tribute to the children of Sandy Hook Elementary School, who passed away on the 14th of December, 2012
Before the distant cross, in humble prayer,
In search of calming silence, not enough
Small angelic chorus sung from high above
“With you, we’ll be there.”
In His Time-Instrumental
“Here in His alcove, nothing remiss
Basking in His ever loving care
His to give, and ours to share,
From hence, our place of eternal bliss.”
“And so he heals the wounds in time
Bridges firmly all rifts, open, gaping
With His gentle hands, so kind
Our little souls, continues, softly shaping
With caressing words that softly rhyme
Our eternal happiness he is creating.”

Hi Michelle,
A beautiful and heartfelt tribute.
Voted up and away and sharing
You weave words so well Michelle... and the images you picked are a great touch as well!!!
4 thumbs up on this one Midget, I sent my prayers out to those families who suffered losses in this tragedy back in 2012 too, and I pray to god that none of this sort of madness ever occurs again.
Your poetry is soothing and like a breath of fresh air, so serene, so relaxing as well. Great usage of page breaks and imagery to compliment it and provide the finishing touches, well done.
Sharing this Jewel that I missed as well, awesome stuff!
Lovely and gentle :) Very nice !
Dear Michelle-your words bring comfort after a terrible tragedy-I know our dear Lord is taking great care of his little angels
Dear Michelle,
This tender tribute is the perfect read as I accepted Honey BB's challenge.
This is the 22nd of 26 hubs I intend to read today. This hub is read in the memory of Lauren Rousseau (06-__-82). May her soul rest in peace.
Hugs, Maria
wow..beautiful!
This was beautifully written. I expected a blatant clap trap and was delightfully mistaken. Well done.
This is a beautiful tribute. I hope the families can take some comfort in knowing we all join in their sorrow.
Thes sonnets are so fitting, your words touch me and I weep for all the lost children, teachers and the agony left for familes and friends to deal with at this special time of year, Christmas. My prayers go out to all the sorrow being felt by those lost for words and feeling the grief.
Simply beautiful, Michelle, and a fitting tribute to the innocent souls called home far too early.
Michelle - Very heartfelt. The tears flow all over the world, yet, I'm sure the smiles are shining above. Great job!
Bravo, fellow sonneteer. Thank you
Beautiful Michelle. I know in my heart God has those children in his arms. I can not begin to say anything that will help heal the parents and families, except that God will touch them with his love.

'Eternal life grant unto them, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.'
Grant peace too in the hearts of those grieving, who should be rejoicing with their little innocent angels this Christmas. Help them heal in time.
