Ann B. Davis A Poem To Remember Her By
Ann B Davis
Ann B Davis
Ann B. Davis remembrance poem
Ann B
it is truly sad to see
A talent like yours put to rest
sad to lose you but I digress
You sang so well as a judge
In some roles you were tough and wouldn't budge
On the bob cummings show you made us all laugh
All the jokes on that show what a gas
You made us smile so often in lover come back
You entertained us when you played Pat
You finally came to us as Alice
Never showing any signs of malice
No ill will did your character play
All the kids use to say
we need a housekeeper like Alice
As Agnes on the love boat you brought us joy
We were happy in those Brady Bunch remakes you did employ
But few remember that you were on the stage
It's time for your fans to turn back the page
See a time you were part of much more then just one signature role
As an entertainer you were whole
Happy you made us as Alice
Farewell Ann B Davis
May you entertain in the clouds above
