Past Notes Vol.4

Updated on March 26, 2016

As Riddles

Tie tongues
While treasure
Is tossed
Into the void
Of Hell

Nothing Contests
The past memories

Something so scorned,
To have never been seen

No Fantasies

Just tragedies
No spark
Or flame

Your only seeing,
Bad luck
Swollen eyes
And rewound pain
Sharing the blame,
While going insane

Forgetting what day it is
Asking yourself,
What is love like?

Trying hard to see,
While blinded by sight

Hoping to drift off trail
Into the light
Cradling your innocence
Just to throw it
Into the wood chipper

Passing your thoughts
Through a broken strainer

Look past Yourself

To see what you are
A connected vibration
Dressed in
The scars of an Ego
Remapping the barren lands
Looking for a place
To hide
From civilization

Time to breathe
Time to bleed
Seeing what you've become
Preparing the journey
Back to where,
You were always at one

I agree Gypsy. I've said it before, but i believe that the pain and harshness of this world help us to see the light and value. It really all just depends on ones perspective.

Incredible feelings here. We all at times bleed, hurt and go to the max but then we are ready to do it all again.

These words seeped in slow, scratching my insides. It hurt and roughed me up a bit in knowing that I've been a castaway on this dreary island. Awesome poem.

Great words here and love some of your phrases especially in the poem 'No Fantasies'(your heading says 'fatasies' by the way): "Trying hard to see while blinded by sight" and "Passing your thoughts through a broken stainer". Well done.
