As tears caress this page

Updated on September 4, 2014
You cannot know the feelings
That you create in me
Your kind words and compassion
For things I did not see

Whilst carrying out your day
My deeds are on your mind
But you offer love and guidance
Knowing my soul is not blind

For each day I face new roads
To heal a child's heart
So you offer truth and moonbeams
To lead us through the dark

Your kindness and your wisdom
Together like my sage
Has my pen now shaking
As my tears caress this page

This is beautiful. Your heart always speaks openly from the page.

I am glad you and your little girl have found a beautiful soul to make the days to come good ones.

Hangin' in there, Jon! I'm so glad you have someone to help you. Having a woman in her life, is wonderful for Savannah - especially at her age.

      Hi Shauna !

Sav is doing great at school and is generally awesome but now the dust has settled signs of the emotional damage caused before I got her back are starting to show and this poem is dedicated to the wonderful woman who has come into our lives and has given so much love, understanding and kindness that it actually did spill my tears as I wrote this, but enough doom and gloom as the future is bright !!

      How are you ?? X
