BLEEDING HEARTS: A POEM
BLEEDING HEARTS: A POEM
They made our brothers headless
Our sisters lifeless with scattered body parts
Their nakedness flaunted in broad daylight
Legs and heads severed by the horror
Tongues wagging in shitty groans
Eyes gouged, weeping silently
The angel killed himself too
Kill me oh lord!
For the evil I heard,
Crippled my joy
Death chew us with great mercilessness
The heartless jump in ecstasy
Joy abound in their hearts
The evil they do
Rang the bell of destruction
At its wake
Multitudes lay lifeless
Bodies fly about like a wayward kite
Maimed, headless, blood-filled eyes
Men and women; boys and girls; tots
Who woke up with lips in your praise
Jaded by this heinous slaughter
Blood pour in gallons
As if of water
Eyes in shock-filled smiles
Smiles bedded in crimson-soaked sorrow
Open mouths in stern pain
Of what God are you, almighty one?
When our hearts bleed
Evil raped us
And your silent cheers we sip
Where is thy power?
Above, you view our slaughter
Evil rain unending
Our killing, routine
The slayer is our kinsman
He sleeps with his head on the cot
Sweet sleep cooking evil
He brags in his thirsty lust
Of how great our number he drains
Oh saviour! Of who is our Lord?
Watch no more! Act!!
Drag his tongue from his anus
Twist his head to the back
Let his back walk through the river of thorns
Let his eyes pop to the floor
Empty his sockets
Fold his ears like paper
Dump his open mouth with faeces
Make merry with his sorrow
Teach him a lesson of lessons
Bail us, we cry!
For we are like a tailless cow
Evil have maimed us
We cry you a river...
