Battle Fever

Updated on June 13, 2012

Getting Better

Life is so precious and rare

It is only when we have trouble we seem to care

If it is a cut or a bruise or a surgery who knew

We ask our body to do what it naturally does automatically

Heal and make us better in no time flat

Lickity split to be exact

When we ache and itch and our body is doing its best

Thank God for the genious who designed are body so fine

We don't have to do a thing

Sure we can get extra rest and take some aprin or three Tylenol

To keep ahead of the pain and almost trick our body into not feeling nothing at all

But the facts still remain the same

We are so lucky to have doctors who make us better

If it is a cold or flu that has to run its course

A surgery that needed to be done

In time we will be well again

Hopefully we will have learned a valuable lesson

Not to take our personal good health for granted

Because we can always be looking from the other side of the glass

It is no fun and really a real big pain in the as*

raciniwa When we are healthy it is easy not to think about all the sick in the world. Now is a good time as ever to think about all the good things we have and our good health to go with it.Sending our blessing to the sick who with love and spirit with get there problems licked.Thanx so much for reading and sharing.

Dim Flaxenwick I am healing from a little surgery.I had basil skin cancer behind my left ear.It reminds me how lucky I am to be so healthy.Would you believe I can't go one day without hittiing my ear by tacking my shirt off and I forget it's there. Then a spend all morning trying not to rub it with my hand when it itches.I am a bad patient. The simplest instructions I find many ways to mess them up.I rather walk on a bed of nails than be healing another day.Thanx again.
