Battle with Mental Disorder
It's an everyday battle
I will not give in
I will not give up
I will not be broken
With patience and perseverance,
I will win this battle
When my anxiety takes its toll,
I will remember the strength I have to overcome
When my depression takes its grip on my being,
I will remember that I have the ability to conquer, overcome, and carry on
It's an everyday battle
I will not give in
I will not give up
I will not be broken
I am so much more than my disorder
My mental disorder does not define me
My ability to continue, thrive, and carry on is what defines me
I will not give in
I will not give up
I will not be broken

philippians 4:6-8 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding , will guard your hearts and minds through christ jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things."

anxiety and depression are serious things and are difficult to cope with. you are a very strong and brave person to write poems about your experiences dealing with both. Thank you for your poems
