Beautiful morning.

Updated on November 11, 2015

Good minutes lost.

good crisp morning

a rising mist

hear the birds singing

opportunity not to be missed.

the line up on my fence, waiting on me starting

throwing out the food,a frenzy is starting.

different colours and sizes,individual disguises.

wee birds are very quick, steal from the bigger one

quite a spectacle,loads of fun

big birds aren't as quick, but they get their fill

they eat huge amounts of food

just a question of will.

the more i throw out,the more birds appear

they are amazing to watch, they have no fear.

when I first open the door, they watch me silent

when the breads thrown out,the scrummage is near violent.

they expect it now, each and every day

they wait my arrival,I fed their babies that day.

i like the occasion, the act of feeding, the calm

i am pleased when the bread is leaves my palm.

knowing ive fed the birds well, for another day

same routine next day,it's the only way.

Favourite time.

the early morning is my favourite time of the day,I go out my backdoor and see natures soap opera being played out before my eyes.each day a different episode, each day different characters.also the old favourites I see each year, still coming back to join in the drama.mother and father birds fighting desperately to feed their young.i hope on hope I feed them enough to ensure they get the result each member of nature needs.survival of they're particular species.from the number of birds in my backdoor ,and nesting close by,I think they're doing ok.

Natures wonders.

Totally free,costs nothing.

the best thing about nature,is its free.we all pay money for pastimes and hobbies, this particular hobby I suppose I can call it,is amazing and never fails to put a smile on my face.even on my worst days,I still muster up a smile watching them .

Truly inspiring views.

Endless.timeless.

each year I see,the images come back

arriving yearly ,as if in a pack.

slightly different from the year before

i always welcome them back to my door.

never get tired,never contrite

i revel in the beauty,it's an awesome sight.

change by the minute, colours and visions

sit out each day,easy decisions.

Pros and cons.

Scotland ,like many countries has its faults.we do some things badly, but other things better.ive seen a few countries in my short life, and without being biased,Scotland has beautiful scenery and landmarks that can rival any country.ive been up the highlands and some islands in or near Scotland, they all have one thing in common.the views get more beautiful the further your willing to go.

Famous people.

a small country with lots of famous people.Robert Burns a world recognised Poet.some of the oldest football teams in the world,Rangers and Celtic.A booming Whisky trade, sold world wide.some of the best stories and dramas known the world over, quite often have their origins in my small country.we are a small country with big ambitions.

Sick man of Europe.

This is a tag we regrettably have. Our diet and exercise regimes leave a lot to be desired.a lot of Scottish Government programmes are ongoing.More physical activity in schools now, slowly but surely we are changing.Hopefully for the better.Local exercise programmes in my county ,always trying to encourage people to join them.it's a long road,we are taking steps to change our reputation. It may take a while, after all Rome wasn't built in a day.

Unrivalled beauty.

PROUD

When all is said and done,I love my country warts and all.We are not the worst country to live in.we have lots of good points, but some bad that level out the playing field a bit.i don't think I'd ever move elsewhere.im locked and rooted here.generations of my family have roots here that can't be erased. That can't be easily forgotten,my kids have their history to add to our legacy.it will be worth watching it as it happens.
