Bata bata paano ka ginawa

Iyan ang tanong ng madla

Bakit hindi ka makasali sa usapang matanda

Opinyon mo laging binalewala

Sa tingin nila ikaw ay inosente pa

Kaya hindi ka pinapansin nila

Kahit sobrang talino mo na

Hindi ka pa rin makalamang sa kanila

Kaya ika’y nakaupo sa isang tabi

Wala man lang pwedeng isabi

Kahit naguumapaw ang gatas sa labi

Dahil gusto mong ihabi

Nais mong mong ika’y marinig

Sa kakayahan ayaw mong padaig

Dahil ika’y bata man

may sarili kang kakayahan

ikaw ang siyang nagbibigay aliw

Sa puso naging kagiliw giliw

Damdaming hindi magmamaliw

Tiyak hindi siya bibitiw

Oo nga’t musmos ka pa

Puso’t isip ay hilaw na

Damdamin nama’y mapagkalinga

Mapagmahal kang talaga

Ikaw ang nagtuturo

Magpakumbaba ng taos puso

Kasimplehan sa lahat ng bagay

Iyong iwinagayway

Dahil sa isang bata

Lalawak ang iyong pang unawa

Buhay mo’y gagaan

Mawawala iyong pinapasan

Dapat kang tularan

Marami ring aral na matutunan

Buhay mo’y kanyang punan
