Behind every dark cloud there's a RAINBOW "FORGIVENESS"
Sometimes I remember how you did
us wrong. Sending us to places we
should not making us do chores that
we could not. Life was hard for all
of us.
But whose choice was it? Not mines
nor theirs . Cursed words were hurled
at us , licks was shed like Pease and
sometimes your sight we dreaded.
We were terrified by your voice,
and covered our heads with our
hands, trying to brace from sudden
unexpected blows.
At times we got licks with anything
that was in your sight. Slumping to
the floor only to be raised up for
some more. Sometimes we lined
up for licks this was no kicks. Our
faced sulked and sad why did you
beat us so bad. You were so raging
mad.
There were times we were hoping to see
you and you did not showed up. Hungry
stomachs just curled up waiting your
return. Where did you go? and why
did you have to leave us all the time so?
I guess it took you awhile to heal from
whatever was hurting you on the inside.
I knew something must have been wrong
for you to have acted that way. I forgive
you and I won’t hold anything against you.
Some things were meant to be the way
they were ,It was all for a reason now I
see it all in its due season.
