Believe - The 14th word in the 'Good Words Project'

The "Good Words Project" are Words to live by and practice using every day.

A special note to Jo Goldsmith, I have not forgotten my pledge to write a poem for each "Good Word" you give to us each week, Jo, and I hope you will forgive me for being late with this one. I just couldn't find the time to write.

When I made the pledge to Grace (Jo) to write a poem for every 'good' word she gave us each week, I had no idea how challenging it would be or how rewarding.

No matter how hard, I am grateful to Grace (Jo) for giving us these good words to live by.

If you need to see

Before you can believe

Then how can you perceive

A love you cannot see?

To believe is faith

Because faith is to believe

Not just things we can

But things we cannot see

Believe! Without it what do we have?

Well Bill, if we don't believe

A void is what we will achieve

Without belief,

We have no comfort in our grief
