You can bend you don't have to fall

Keep your head up

When you knees threaten to buckle

Causing you to stagger

In face of adversity

Crush that desire to surrender to its power

Show your strength, pushing on

Reveal how strong your will is

 When everything in life is

Going wrong

Shove disappointments to the side,

We all want a taste of

Apple pie

Let not negative thoughts prevail, keeping you

Tied to a lie

Failure is a state of mind

Where does your strength hail from?

Somewhere deep in your soul

You can bend you don't have to fall

You can stumble and not trip

You can listen to the negative talk or tune it out

Unless the negativity is standing in your shoes

They don't know your journey, understand your plight

Comprehend we all make mistakes

You can bend you don't have to fall

I give very good advice, but I very seldom take it.

      Lewis Carroll, (Alice in Wonderland)

      Very nicely put.
