Better Tomorrow

Updated on July 30, 2016

Sweet dreams

I wake to a nightmare

In the daylight of my life

I wake

Only to fall back to sleep

This cannot be

It's only a dream

Or is it

Back in my bed

Trapped in my head

Alone in my hell

Waiting for an escape from myself

From my pain

From my shame

Forgive me Lord for I have sinned

Shut my eyes

Let me rest again

And if you chose to wash away all the sorrow

I'll be happy to live

For a better tomorrow

      Tragically beautiful.

Never let your shame fear you into's what we do with ourselves and those we love each day that counts.
