Birthday Blues
Happy Birthday To Me
As I approach another birthday, I was feeling very sad for some unknown reason. I thought if I put it into what I like best, (poetic expression ) may be I can understand why I feel this way. As I read the news paper I see a lot of the people that I knew passing away not exactly due to old age but from just the passage of life
I know not where my blues come from
I just sometimes feel that I am on the run
when you feel life wasting away
it's very hard to face another day
I think that its my birthdays blues
Like there is somthing I am about to lose
it's not the srtife, it's not my wife
maybe it is about my life
I run to try to catch the sun
something, some fun or just someone
who knows just what this birthday brings
a sort of closure of past dreams
as it approaches oh so near
it brings to me a sort of fear
a cold feeling of the unknown
my life's expectancy is shown
just how long will it last
As i start to recall my bad, badd past
so my love, I love you dearly
and to try to show you this merely,
is just words written from sage
no emotion , no feelings of rage.
I guess just to turn another page
