Blood Orchid

Updated on November 21, 2015
Mihnea Andreescu profile image

Mihnea-Andrei Andreescu is a Romanian Symbolist/Avant-Garde poet and author of "Of Ecstasy and Sorrow".

Serving septic pleasures

-A crimson bane in bloom

Nature hath contrived her-

Inflorescence of doom.

Brittle seeds of sorrow

Birth noxious crimson petals.

Injecting rugged skin

Like wisps of stinging nettles.

Venom flows through my veins,

Malignant ,cruel and fast.

I succumb to darkness

A chance to rest,at last...

I enjoy your poetry so much, especially the way you use words to paint pictures in the reader's mind. Congrats on taking literature classes. Keep writing and creating.

Twisted in the right direction and definitely 'cunning'.
