Review
I have read the book in one-sitting and it is packed with 40 life lessons that I recommend to people who are battling with anxiety, depression, and other challenges in life that make normal daily tasks or responsibilities hard to perform. This book is the perfect guide for teenagers as young as thirteen, and young adults between 18 – 35 years of age because this is the age range that an individual is very likely to experience self-doubt, self-pity, and suicidal tendencies. Since I’m in my late thirties, I belong to the middle-age adults, so I am already well aware of the contents of the book though in reading it, I was able to relate and look back at the time when I researched most of the topics via internet.
I’m giving this book 3 out of 5 stars. I like the author’s intention to help people through her own experiences both as a normal individual and as a mental professional. The book is relatable and informative but is best suitable for the younger ones.
