I love reading books and also love to extract maximum positive things from it.

10 Rules From The Book That Can Make You Stress Free

1. Spot the sprout: By stating this point the author wants to state that enjoy the little things in your life. Taking a moment from our day today's scheduled life can restore our energy.

Stepping back from our busy lives and analyzing what we are actually missing are going to be big things in the near future. Many of us have that endless to-do list and with the hoard of chasing them, we lose our focus on daily little happiness.

It's not how busy you are, it's what makes you busy. Playing with your kid, cuddling with your pet, observing that rainbow, watching the puddles in the water, enjoying the freshness of raindrops. There are many such little things that can easily combat your stress but we are not actually zooming our lenses. "It's not that look, that matters, it's what you see"What's missing in your life.

2. Prioritize your work: Timing is very crucial so we need to prioritize our work properly. No one can do everything at a time. We need to plan the schedules, organize and execute it properly. Instead of jumping from one mountain of tasks to another, you need to slow down, prioritize your work according to your need and necessity, and then execute it. Point out which is the work that is really important for you then break it step by step and execute. It will not pressurize your mind or force you to welcome anxiety while performing the work.

3. Reduce the numbers: We are surrounded by a mountain of things that make us drool to grab one after the other. In the process, we are actually confusing ourselves which are adding value, or adding clutter. We normally cherish the feelings and memories after some year, not materials.

Ask yourself, the luxurious car you bought or the luxury you are maintaining are they really necessary? Are these materialistic needs are complimenting our needs or making our life more complicated? We are loving things, those things that are not going to love us back. Draw the line. Ask yourself how much is enough?

4. Go forward by looking backward: In order to achieve your goal. Envision your future plan and come back to the present to execute. Decorate your life. Winners learn from their past experiences.

5. Leave the Past behind: Change is the law of life, most of them wander in their comfortable past welcoming stress.

The past can't think, talk, and live but it can ruin our future if we allow it to do so.

Focusing on the past will definitely limit your future plans. Make a clean break, clean the mess as soon as possible, and move forward. Choose to leave your past to move forward to your future.

6. Choose not to be a victim but a victor: Circumstances are not our slaves they do interfere sometimes in our life. Don't become a victim, It all depends on what you want to choose.

Attitude is everything. Don't choose to be a victim of unwelcoming circumstances confront it, fight back, and stay positive.

7. Be a positive magnet: Magnets are all in autopilot mode that is their job to attract. Human beings also act as a magnet. You attract people towards you. Choose people and decisions wisely.

8. Get outdoors: nature therapy is very important. Nature refreshes our soul and mind both. Nature has great healing effects.

It is powerful and helps to clean all the fuss.

9. Be less iffy: When one door is closed the other one is opened but most of the time we mourn by looking at the closed door.

Choose with no regret. Do what you love. Don't doubt your own potentials.

10. Know the purpose of your life: Slow down to go faster. Life with an aimless purpose is worthless. You need to have a specific purpose. Find out what is that and work on it.

Don't force yourself to do everything and end up with nothing.

Normally people fall in the web of confusion by accepting whatever comes in their way. You should be clear about your vision and mission of your life.

“P.S. You’re not going to die. Here’s the white-hot truth: if you go bankrupt, you’ll still be okay. If you lose the gig, the lover, the house, you’ll still be okay. If you sing off-key, get beat by the competition, have your heart shattered, get fired…it’s not going to kill you. Ask anyone who’s been through it.” – Danielle LaPorte

Conclusion

The world is moving at a faster pace. We are competing with time to reach our desired goals and once we manage to grab one goal, without wasting any time we jump and participate in another rat race to grab the cheese of another goal.

In the process knowingly or unknowingly we fall in the trap of anxiety, stress which drags us to meet the darkness of unhappiness in the long run.

It's like the tiny hamster running on a wheel, achieving nothing, and ending up on the rolling wheels with a mind cram with confusion.

But shockingly, we are the creators of such life. Like a powerful magnet, we are the people who are attracting such things in our life.
So, is Stress our own choice?

Can we push away stress with simple methods?

Fortunately, the answer is, "yes".This book by David Zerfross explains 10 rules to stay safe from deadly anxiety.

All of us are blessed with a certain power, the only thing is we do not realize them. Anxiety, stress are temporary problems. Be the broom and strike it out, clean and clear each and every dirty corner of your mind by following these simple steps.

Inner peace begins the moment you choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions.
